FSTP and the CPD Standards Office, which is part of The Professional Development Consortium, are delighted to announce that FSTP has been recognised as a ‘Training Provider of Excellence’. We are the first Milton Keynes based company to receive this prestigious credential and one of only three providers within the UK’s Financial Services industry to achieve this.

Our accreditation is especially valuable due to the importance of CPD. The majority of Financial Services professionals need to complete a minimum of 35 hours of continuing professional development (CPD) annually. Due to the fact that we produce a wide range of CPD earning activities including open and in-house courses and our monthly subscription e-journal ‘Advice Matters’, we are extremely proud to receive this acknowledgement.
Not only did we receive this excellent news, but we have also just renewed our ‘Premier Training Partner’ status with the CISI (Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment). This makes us one of only six providers to meet the higher accredited training partner criteria required by the CISI.
The criteria for premier partner status is extensive and requires training partners to demonstrate that they go above and beyond the standard accredited training partner benchmark, providing a consistently excellent service to their students and those that fund students.
This includes evidence such as above national average qualification pass results, analysis of feedback and quality assurance of the training itself. Support of students is paramount whether through the training materials supplied or extra assistance provided by the tutors outside of the classroom. Also taken into account is the commitment of the provider to working with the CISI such as completion of the annual review, membership for training staff and a pro active approach to working in partnership with them.
Henceforth it is with great pleasure that we can say we have both achievements to start off what will hopefully be an excellent 2019!
