At FSTP we’re very proud of our track record in helping candidates achieve excellent results which rank higher than the national average across the industry. Yet again, our 2016 results have produced some award winners who receive awards in recognition for the best result in the Applied Wealth Management paper and the overall award for the Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification. This is what the overall winner had to say after receiving her award last week;
“These qualifications are time consuming but it is worth it. My advice would be to choose a training provider that works best for you. Ian Richardson at FSTP was outstanding in providing the teaching and support that was required to achieve the CWM Qualification. As a proactive learner the small groups and the interactive nature of Ian’s FSTP courses were a huge benefit to me. I would also advise starting the exams as soon as you can and to keep the momentum going between each exam”. Overall Winner of the Chartered Wealth Manager Award 2016, (Quilter Cheviot).
We’re particularly delighted with the CISI CWM results this February which were announced in the Financial Times because we have outperformed previous results. We believe this is due to our extensive experience, small group size and the dedication of our lead tutors. They build strong relationships with their students very quickly and have direct access to each other along with access to materials online.
Once the results have been made public, we always tend to catch up with our candidates to find out how they feel about their performance and what the implications are for their immediate and future careers. Here’s what some of them thought about the tutors and FSTP.
“FSTP unsurprisingly continue to attract the biggest and best firms in the city to use their expertise and skills. The structure to which they have broken up the courses are much more digestible and makes what is a rather a lot of information to take in less daunting. All their tutors in general are always able to reply to any questions I had either via email or phone, which was a rather comforting thought whilst in the midst of revising.” – Edward Clark, Charles Stanley.
‘As a Premier CISI Accredited Training Provider we are pretty flexible, offering support in several ways; on a one to one basis, in-house with firms and as part of our open course study programmes.’ Says Julia Kirkland who is the managing partner at FSTP. ‘We do like to emphasise that our success is based on the relatively small groups of up to 10 people. This gives everyone a chance to develop and focus on particular problem areas and discuss the latest best practice and hot topics.’ She continued.
